a music buff?

hell no not yet...

when asked what type of music i listen to, i usually respond by saying "ummm i don't know music so i just settle with what's on the radio". and for the longest that answer was the truth. i never had cd's. 

you couldn't catch me listening to what i thought was super underground shit like talib kweli, the roots, little brother, dwele, bilal, etc...seriously, i was definitely ignorant to what "good music" actually was. and it didn't matter that my little brother is insanely talented when it comes to producing original 

"good music".

 i was ignorant. period. 

 but not any more...since the radio stations have completely gone to shit, i've taken it upon myself to do everything possible to learn what i can about music! so far it's been very enlightening :) lol
